Adela Gonzales White is a storyteller with Texas roots and a Caribbean soul. She draws on her experience as a journalist, Tejana and expatriate to tell interesting stories for her clients ranging from technology to tourism. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Adela earned a journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. After a thirteen-year career as a television journalist in the Lone Star State, she decided it was time for a change, took up scuba diving, and discovered a passion for the sport and island life. Adela landed a job in the Cayman Islands, a top Caribbean tourist destination and diving hotspot. From 1987 – 2000, she traveled extensively promoting her island home, its business and tourism attributes. Adela now lives in Southwest Florida with her
husband James and twin daughters, but maintains strong personal and business ties to Cayman. The Whites also maintain a second residence in the Rio Grande Valley.
